Circle the car
If a small child is behind the car, he is completely invisible to the driver. If you are in any neighbourhood that has children, you should walk around the back of the car before you get in so that you can be certain there is no child in the way. Obviously, children shouldn’t play in the driveway, but even if you have told them that, you always need to check before backing out.
